i'm a little late with this, i know. we had a busy weekend of college football & napping, then mike left for a 4 cities in 4 days "tour" (ok, business travel), then we had another exciting weekend of...shopping & napping. if you haven’t figured it out…that’s 2 weekends it’s taken me to get just this much out!
if you haven't noticed...there's a lot of napping going on in the sheaffer house. if we don't get our nap in, we just go to bed at 9. that includes elle, too. ha ha. We know how to live it up in dallas!
elle visited the pediatrician a couple of weeks ago for her 4 month checkup. she weighed 13 pounds, 9 ounces (in the 50th percentile for her age) & was 25" long (75th percentile for her age). she grew 3" in 2 months! whoa! her doctor has encouraged us to start her on cereal as we have the time and opportunities. we've tried it a few times with mixed results but she seems to be doing well with it. she continues to roll over, loves hanging out in her jumparoo and enjoys watching baby monet or baby mozart (a weekend treat). elle is also starting to giggle and it appears we have more of a chatterbox on our hands than we previously thought. i've tried to video the in-depth conversations and laughs but anytime she sees that camera, she shuts down! with michael home this week, we'll have to see if we can get some footage.
