elle just wouldn't go down easily tonight. i laid her down and she just screamed...like she was almost hyperventilating (i'm sure she wasn't, but it sounded like it). and i just don't prefer to hear a baby cry.
so michael went in and held her a little bit more. when i walked by, i noticed her eyes were still wide open so i stopped in.
me, to elle: maybe if your daddy sang a song to you, you'd go to sleep.
michael: i was singing a song to her.
me: oh? (because i never hear him singing to her. ever.) what was it?
michael, thinking: well, it started out with some AC/DC then moved on to some Def Lepperd.
needless to say, i left the room before he could list anymore.
