this is scary stuff, people. i can assure you the only time my child will be dressed under my supervision - or my dollar - in this color combination is when her dayschool says "no halloween costumes, but please dress your child like she's a highway construction worker or like she is preparing to go hunting wild game in a Southeast Oklahoma pasture...um, in orange & black". oops. did i say that out loud? my sincerest apologies to my friends who are flawed with the cowboy fever.
elle was a monkey for halloween (appropriate, given her affinity for bananas). she surprised us and actually wore the costume. but, she wasn't so fond of the trick or treating. maybe next year.
