we're foodies here at the reser-sheaffer house. we love to eat it. plan it. bake it. make it. eat it. eat it. but...there is one of us that doesn't always love what's on the table so i'm on a never ending search for a hit at the table.

i've (this is dawn here) had my eye on ellie krieger's blueberry & almond french toast bake (sans the almonds since elle's pediatrician has not given the green light on nuts). since my parents were visiting last weekend, i hopped on the extra guests to help us chow down.

this recipe makes a large amount and a small dab'll do ya. it's delicious with powdered sugar or some added syrup!
