elleisms age 2.5

first, can you believe elle is 2 and a half? wow. elle's speech is pretty clear but there are some things she says and if you're not in the know, you might be confused.

so...here's a list.

• gwama beezy: grandma buesing (bee-zing). actually, i kind of like "beezy".
• kaka: uncle kyle
• cc: aunt casey
• soccabaw: any ball oriented sport on television
• rapes: yeh, this one is awkward. it's grapes.
• kafwyn: her friend, kathryn, from church. they're tight.
• nomi: her friend, naomi, from church. also, apparently tight.
• makeups:  this is elle's word for hiccups...she also uses this word when she wants facial cleanser while mommy cleans her face.
• he got the ball:  proclaimed when she notices any sporting event on the television
• lady bugs and grasshoppers: these are not what you think.  in elle's mind these words represent what other kids may refer to as boogers and ear wax.
• i am not ready, here i come: this is what elle exclaims after she has counted to 5 and is hunting for you in a rousing game of hide and seek.
